I was not expecting this air bed to live up to it's claims, but it did. It came quickly, was very affordable, and is absolutely fantastic. I used this for three months straight and it was my only piece of furniture used for not only sleeping but sitting, eating, basically everything was done on the mattress. I had no issues with it staying inflated. Sometimes I noticed that the pump was going but it was so quiet that didn't happen often. It was comfortable even with two people! I would highly suggest if you are looking for good long term use air bed, this is the one to go with.
I have been using this mattress every night for the last three months. The mattress has stayed inflated the entire time. I read in one of the reviews that the never flat pump was a little bit noisy. I was concerned by this as I am a light sleeper. If you put the pump at your feet which makes it easier to get at the controls anyway you really don't hear the pump at all. Yes, inflating and deflating is noisy, but who cares?! You're not sleeping when you do that.
I use a foam pad on top of the mattress just for comfort's sake. You don't have to as it is fine without. I like that this bed is off the ground. It is easy to get in and out of without picking yourself up off the floor. You can sit on the edge without the bed bulging out the other side. It is not exactly like having a real mattress, but it is very close and can be deflated and put away until you need it again. I am very pleased with this air mattress.
I was hesitant to buy another blow up bed that would just be uncomfortable and deflate while sleeping on it. This one ISN'T! We got this for my parents to sleep on when they came to visit. I wanted to make their stay as comfortable as possible. They loved this air bed and slept very well on it. It kept its hardness and the height of it was really nice for my parents to get up easily. I cannot comment on the adjustment settings since my parents kept it at firm, so not yet sure if it works well. But for what we bought it for, it worked perfectly!
