As a first-time home buyer six years ago, I was proud to push a broom and rake the leaves. Since then, the blisters, the back ache, and the time spent have become less enjoyable season after season. Decidedly, it was time that I looked into purchasing an electric blower / leaf vacuum and this Toro product was everything I was looking for.
Immediately upon unpackaging, the attachments went on with ease and within minutes I was using the blower's powerful motor to move leaves around the yard and to push dust out of the garage. In just a few quick steps, I converted the blower to a vacuum and was sucking up and mulching leaves in rapid fashion.
Unfortunately, the catch bag is rather small and must be emptied frequently; but, understandably considering the amount of weight that begins accumulating inside. The adjustable motor speed makes it easy to lower the blower output for times where hurricane force is not needed. When it is, however, this blower heards debris very, very well!
As someone who only uses this item around the house, the electrically driven motor is more than sufficient and it saves on having to buy gas at the measly expense of using an extension cord. For those who would like to reduce their time and labor performing yard work, the Toro electric blower / leaf vacuum is the perfect tool to get the job done. I highly recommend this item to prospective buyers.
