I won't say this is a noise-free hair dryer or feather weight, but this is the best I've ever owned. The Babyliss Pro definitely is lighter in weight and more powerful than all my previous dryers. It has three speed options and three heat settings along with a cool shot button. Red color with black nozzle looks pretty good, too.
This serves the purpose pretty well in day to day use. I wash my hair 2 times in a week and use this every time I wash my hair and the after effect looks great and stays till I next wash my hair. Use a Nano Thermic and Ceramic ion brush and Hair looks silky, smooth, soft and straight. Even curling is pretty easy with such brush.
I went with a tourmaline dryer because of the advertised properties in keeping hair healthier, sleek and faster drying time. The Babyliss Pro is definitely better than my old dryer but I wouldn't say it is amazing. I've noticed my hair is much less frizzy after drying but it seems like the it's not as effective as when I first started using it a month ago. It is a lot quieter then my old dryer, doesn't have that high pitched whirling, which I like.
I was a little concerned with other reviews that stated the attachment to concentrate the air, would not stay. But I'm not having an issue with it at all. I put it on, when I first got it, and it's been on ever since. No slipping or re-adjusting has been necessary. Very powerful dryer, comfortable to hold and exactly what I was looking for, to replace my 10 year old blow dryer that just up and croaked, mid-use! Definitely happy with this purchase!
